Still have questions?
After you submit your application we will send you an email, letting you know whether or not you have been invited to an interview. If your interview is successful you will receive an acceptance letter, which will mean you have been accepted to the program, as well as a Student Agreement and Payment Agreement. You will have a week from being accepted to the program, to return these forms and pay the Acceptance Fee.
No. You do not need any prior music or music production experience to apply. Absolute beginners are welcome, as long as they are serious about learning and ready to commit the time required. Students are placed into classes based on their current skill level, so beginners start with the right foundations while more experienced students are placed into classes that better match their background and goals.
By the end of the year, the goal is for students to have developed a stronger production workflow, completed a release-ready EP, prepared a live set, built their artist identity, and created an EPK and release plan. Students also receive guidance on label outreach and have opportunities to present their music to industry professionals through industry-focussed events. Specific introductions, signings, or placements are not guaranteed.
Yes. The program includes guidance on release strategy, demo preparation, label outreach, and independent release planning. Students also have opportunities to connect with industry professionals through events such as our Industry Summit, where selected labels, artists, managers, and other music industry experts are invited to hear student music and projects.
We help students understand how to present their music professionally, approach the industry seriously, and make meaningful connections. We do not guarantee label signings, placements, releases, or specific introductions, but we do create opportunities for students to get their work in front of relevant industry professionals.
Yes. Students can complete the One-Year Program in NYC, Berlin, or online, and can switch formats during the year. Format changes are planned around the program schedule so your classes, mentorship, and progress stay aligned.
Yes. Payment plans are available for accepted students. The total cost may be higher than full payment, depending on the plan selected. Contact us for current payment plan details.
